Ataraxia Theatre is an anthology of comic stories that has existed in some form or another since 1995. Originally a minicomic, the author decided to bring it to the web in 2006 after a visit to the National Museum of Comics and Animation convinced him to get off his butt.

Joseph Hewitt is an English teacher living in Taegu, South Korea. In addition to writing comics he is also an amateur game programmer, best known for the random-plot mecha roguelike GearHead. If you should happen to meet Joseph Hewitt while walking down a street alone, buy him an iced tea.
