Sorry by Too Much Joy. I spent years trying to find one
of their albums in North America, tried to get my local record store
to bring one in, searched every independant music stockist I could
find... Eventually I moved to Korea and picked up Finally and
Cereal Killers at a stationery store downtown.
These days you kids have Amazon and iTunes and
your fancy Int-Or-Net for finding music quickly and easily.
Sometimes I miss the thrill of hunting through a cluttered
music store for an obscure album that I had been seeking for years...
other times I remember it used to really really suck.
In any case, I regret that I wasn't able to buy a Too Much Joy
album until well after the band had already split up. To Tim and the
rest of the guys, if you ever do have that one final concert you talked
about in Gods and Sods, make sure you webcast for those of us who
don't live in North America, okay?
