Ataraxia Theatre First Beginning of storyline Previous comic Next comic Today's comic Transplant Comics

Why are there no good giant robot webcomics?

After Voles of the Dusk finishes later this month, my next story will be an adventure set in the GearHead universe. I will admit that my past two GearHead stories were not particularly good, but I have high hopes for this one. First of all it will actually have a story. That's a huge improvement over the previous attempts. Second, I've done a lot more work on the script and art than I did for the previous stories.

Why keep trying when I've failed so badly in the past? Well, I like the GearHead universe a whole lot, and feel that there are interesting stories waiting to be told there. Also, as mentioned, there aren't any good giant robot webcomics. I have to change this, even if it means taking things into my own hands. Besides, everything's a learning experience.

I hope you've enjoyed this look into the artist's mind. Next week I'll tell you everything I think while shopping for shoes.
