Today's comic strip is an adaptation of a play I wrote called Joe and his Chair.
It's a three hour play with only one line of dialogue, spoken at the very end: "God, I'm bored".
You see, it takes a truly great actor to make the audience feel
exactly the same way his character feels.
To the best of my knowledge, Joe and his Chair has only been staged once. Nobody was killed
after the performance so things went better than I had expected.
Thanks to Susan Pelley and Barbera "Barb" Rumbolt for being the only two students crazy enough
to pull something like that off.
Wow, it's been a long time since I was in university... if you're interested in reading
more about history,
check out Teaching Baby Paranoia. It's a
collection of questionable vignettes from ages past.
