The principal ingredient of most modern root beers is a herb called wintergreen. Originally I thought
this was unavailable in Korea, but Eunsuk discovered that there's a herb called Japanese wintergreen
that is available.
Sometime soon, we have to check the herbal medicine shops in Daegu. I think I'll use a Pocari Sweat
bottle as my brewing vessel- it's the right size and has a nice seal at the top. There's still the
problem that all my experiments with carbonation have thus far failed. Still, where there's a will
there's a way, and in this case there's certainly a will.
